A clever judge remarked a few years ago that area county commissions are often comprised of some of the finest intellectuals of the 18th century. He was joking, of course, but Washington County Commissioner Joe Wise wants to make sure he and his colleagues stay on task and deal with the relevant issues of the 21st century.
