JOHNSON CITY - Philip A. Hunt, age 59, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A lifelong native of Johnson City, he was a son of the late George Adrian and Mable Marie Taylor Hunt. Mr. Hunt was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church and retired from Tennessee Eastman Company. Survivors include a son, Lucas T. Hunt, Johnson City; step-son, Joseph Daugherty, Johnson City; previous wife of 26 years, Deborah Hunt, Johnson City; one granddaughter, Ava Simms; one sister, Ada "Kay" Rippel, New Philadelphia, OH; one brother, Bill Hunt, Johnson City. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at Sinking Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Hoagland officiating.
